Updated: 4 days ago

Wildlife Art Silent Auction in aid of

RZSS Saving Wildcats

The Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

Meet Jules Chabeaux introducing her "Win A Wildcat" silent auction

Imagine how great you'll feel knowing you've directly helped the plight of the Scottish Wildcat by supporting Saving Wildcats with your winning bid for my "Eyes That Say It All..." original art.

You can take your time to find the perfect frame and just the right place to hang her in your home. You'll be able to share your story with family and friends, as they enjoy viewing her.

Or maybe you know a special someone who would be thrilled to receive this original piece as a special gift, to show them how much you care. Perhaps writing them a beautiful card, explaining how their gift has created vital funding for Saving Wildcats, knowing it will bring an even bigger smile to their face...

"Eyes That Say It All..." - Original Fine Art in Soft Pastel with mount

I painted this piece by eye, onto beautiful Pastelmat paper using soft pastels. I love how they create a softness for the fur, as well as allowing some dramatic "artistic license" for her eye colours to really pop off the paper! She really does follow you around the room too! I wanted to reveal the intense strength and character of the truly wild cat - she is sharing a very powerful message that you can feel into, even though she remains silent. This Wildcat wants you to receive her message loud and clear! What is she "saying" to you?

Many feel that these feisty felines are "grumpy" yet I prefer to believe they simply stand their ground and will not be intimidated by anyone. She knows what is acceptable and lo and behold anyone who disrespects her boundaries! You can see why my family McIntosh emblem was a good choice for our brave clansmen and women, defending their homelands.

A Future For The Scottish Wildcat

Sadly, Scottish Wildcats had been teetering on the brink of extinction and are technically classified as "non viable" in the wild. Which is why the pioneering work of Saving Wildcats is so important. Their dedicated work, which centres around a pioneering breeding to release programme in the Cairngorm National Park in the Scottish Highlands, has been making wonderful steps forward and you can read more about their progress HERE
